「Data utilization and distribution system innovation as the key to EV adoption: Toward realizing the EV circular economy and revitalizing the EV market」

  • To realize a circular economy for EVs, the key is how to extend the life of products through reuse and repurposing. For this, a system that appropriately matches usage and performance is necessary. Additionally, to achieve EV-specific businesses such as battery resource recycling and energy integration, the utilization of EV performance data is essential. DeNA has developed a solution that generates EV performance data from the data users can obtain, using its proprietary prediction technology. This shifts data sovereignty from the automaker to the user, enabling users themselves to manage appropriate matching of usage and performance, including for new and used vehicles, and to utilize EV performance data. This offers a vision for realizing the EV circular economy.
