Mr. Koichi Katsumata has over 20 years of experience in automotive industry. Prior to joining Aeris, he had been leading business development and sales of connected vehicle segment in ASEAN region at automotive parts supplier, and sales of Connected Vehicle Cloud at Ericsson. Mr. Katsumata holds MBA from Lingnan College, Sun Yat-Sen University, China.

Vishal Ghariwala is the Senior Director and Chief Technology Officer for SUSE for the APJ and Greater China regions. In this capacity, he engages with customer and partner executives, analysts, and the media across the region. He also has a global charter with the SUSE Office of the CTO to assess relevant industry, market and technology trends and identify opportunities aligned with the company’s strategy. Prior to joining SUSE, Vishal was the Director for Cloud Native Applications at Red Hat where he led a team of senior technologists to drive the growth and adoption of the Red Hat OpenShift, API Management, Integration and Business Automation portfolios across the Asia Pacific region. Before that, he spent a significant amount of time with leading middleware vendors such as IBM, ILOG and Intalio, as well as the public sector.
Vishal has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry.

Current position from January 2021. Prior to that, worked for the automotive industry for 12 years at Integrated Silicon Solution Inc. (Taiwan) (hereinafter referred to as ISSI), a semiconductor and electronic component manufacturer. Since the early days of ADAS, extensively dealt with Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs in the semiconductor industry. Prior to ISSI, he worked at Smith & Associates Inc. (USA), a global distributor of electronic components, as representative and sales director, helping to establish the Japanese branch.

Led map development for car navigation systems at a major audio manufacturer. Established Canvas Mapple, Inc. and created the Japanese portable navigation market as a representative director, as well as a new car navigation market for light vehicles. In 2017, moved to Trillium in Silicon Valley and led the business development of automotive cyber security software in Japan. Currently working on market development as the representative of Nexar in Japan.

新潟県生まれ。東京理科大学理学部卒、事業構想大学院大学修了（事業構想修士）。テレビゲーム流通情報誌の記者を経て独立。先進サイエンス領域を中心に、大学や企業のコミュニケーション媒体の企画・制作・プロデュースに携わる。日経BP社にて環境系媒体の立ち上げに携わったのを機に環境問題およびエコカー分野にも活動領域を拡大。2017年、株式会社サイエンスデザイン設立。2020年、NASA公式プログラムSpaceAppsOsaka審査員。
