To unlock the promise of software defined vehicles, software has to be decoupled from hardware to vehicles to continuously improve and adapt without being constrained by hardware limitations. However, the supply chain for procuring software separately from hardware is so far unstructured and the process lengthy.
Launched in September 2024 by GM, Magna and Wipro, SDVerse is the first dedicated vehicle software marketplace which aims to transform the software procurement process, making it faster and more efficient. This transformation will enable the automotive industry to innovate more rapidly and adapt to new technologies with ease. As well as a procurement tool, SDVerse also serves as a ecosystem, where collaboration among automotive OEMs and suppliers enables the delivery of high-quality SDVs faster.
This webinar, featuring SDVerse's CEO Prashant Gulati, will explore how joint effort between OEMs, suppliers, and software innovators and simplified software procurement can reduce costs and speed-up development cycles, enable rapid deliver of advanced SDV functions and services in autonomy, connectivity, and other areas, and enable new services for users aligning with emerging SDV business models. It will be an interactive session where the listeners can ask questions to Prashant.
